With the subscription, you can write your own cards. They appear in class through the teacher’s module: add it to the ritual.
- In the “Library” tab, open “My cards”, then “+ Create a card”.
- Choose a format: picture → word, question → answer, gap-fill, list to conjugate, true / false, or embedded activity (Genially, Canva, YouTube, LearningApps, Quizlet, Wordwall).
- Write the instruction and the expected answer; add a picture if you like (500 KB max, an https address if you paste one). “Picture → word” needs a picture. Write the card without any pupil’s name: it may be shown on the board or shared.
- File it in a unit, like your lessons, or leave it outside any unit.
- Save the card: it goes into your store. Or keep it as a draft.
A stored card never comes up on its own. You add cards, or a whole unit, when you build a class’s ritual, under “Your teacher’s module”:
- scheduled: over a period, or on a single day; they take the session’s extra places, in turn when there are several;
- one per session, for a unit: in its order, one more card for each session that has taken place;
- in the draw: the places left over, the card seen least recently first.
Only sessions shown in class move the rotation on: a pupil who opens their cards at home on a day without a lesson does not change what comes up in the next lesson.
A little ritual within the ritual: tap a card’s star to pin it, and it comes up in every session, in the order you set. “On top of the pinned ones” (0 to 6) says how many cards are added, taken from the day’s scheduled cards, otherwise from the draw. On the board they follow one another in the module: the class answers, you reveal, you move on to the next. A card serves all your classes with the same language and level, from one year to the next. “My cards” sorts and filters them and lets you handle them in bulk.
Sharing a unit with a colleague
In the unit, tap “Share with a colleague”, then create the link. Your colleague sees the finished cards and adds them to their library, creating an account if needed: they arrive in store, without going into their classes. The link works for thirty days; “Stop sharing” cuts it off at once. Only the cards are shared, never your classes or your students.
